I am licensed in both DC and Maryland. I work part-time in private practice with DC Counseling and Pyschotherapy Center, and part-time as the founding manager and AAMFT Approved Supervisor for The Relationship Therapy Program at Mary's Center. We take graduate-level student interns on a rolling admission basis.
I am a systemic therapist to my very core. My goal for every client is to support differentiation. This means bringing them back to love and secure attachment, and helping them set healthy boundaries as needed. I am especially skilled at supporting clients through the beginning phases of long-term relationships: ex, pre-marital/pre-commitment counseling, family planning, fertility and loss, bringing baby home, and getting through the early years of parenthood.
I am certified in PCIT, Integrative Sex and Couples Counseling (Dr. Tammy Nelson), Fertility Counseling (Dr. Laura Covington and Dr. Kristy Koser), and Trauma-Informed Cross-Culturally Responsive Clinical Supervision.
I am here to make friends, network, and have interesting conversations about our field and where it is headed :)
Finally, I am excited to announce that my first evidence-based practice children's book, Lucia the Turtle will be published this Spring 2026!
This book is the first of a children's book series with the goal of replacing all those handouts we give to parents that they never look at again. I figured, if they are reading all this information to their child in story form these skills will be more fun to learn!
